The good news is maybe OO management will consider having a flow with a potential legacy in the future (I’d assume UA) to stay competitive for hiring purposes.
We need a non partner flow, i would love to see a flow to Southwest or FedEx. This way we won't **** off any of our competitors. But it would be nice to have an Alaska flow too...

you heard wrong.

OO is going to get the flow regardless of whether 9E takes it or not.

I held a conference call yesterday with the CEOs of DL/UA/AA/FedEx/UPS/and the President and it’s confirmed, Skywest will get to flow to any major/cargo operator they want as soon as they hit 3000 hours of experience.
Effective February 31st 2022.

LMAO

I was hoping we’d get a “Wait what?! Really?!”.

Default SkyWest Hub Flying

Hi all-

Is your OO flying typically to/from your home base each leg, or is there more variety? i.e If you are LAX based, could you have a trip that is LAX>SFO>DEN>LAX or can you trade to build a line that would offer some different types of flying? Would seem a bit repetitive if every flight either departed or arrived at your home base each. Thanks in advance.

There's plenty of variety. You can leave your domicile on day one of a three or four day trip and not return until the last flight of the last day. Or you can just fly in and out of a hub like SLC and never see anything more than an hour or so away from base.

That said, it's going to get very repetitive after a while. You are going to go the same airports a lot.

RJ200 flying is back and forth repetitive. RJ700/900 is mostly in between, maybe one flight a day through your home domicile. RJ175 is rare to see your domicile until the last day of your trip. You may touch down in your home domicile and have to work a penalty lap (there and back). I bid avoid that garbage.
