far better than other regionals? What did Skywest get first place in the 3 leg race at the company picnic?

Just saw one of the FB pages mention something about FA classes to resume spring 2021. Maybe that mid 2021 timeline someone else mentioned is plausible.

I would say by March there running CRJ class’s again and interviewing... (look at the DVR. IAH growing by 30 CA’s and DFW by 10) with this influx up AA 700’s and used 200’s on the UA side. They will have to get things going. They transitioned to many to ERJ without backfilling the CRJ... only 1 person has a “transfer in for IAH”. Bids not out yet but how do they expect to fill this if they don’t start CRJ upgrades and NH’s... (unless we downsize a base...:-(...)

Maybe, but they can probably run 1 upgrade class and get everyone they need locked into Houston, and still be fat on FOs. For now they are hoping junior captains in overstaffed bases will commute to a line or move to IAH; if that fails they will start getting more creative.

I get the feeling that DTW and MSP CRJ pilots might be getting an email about needing to transfer to IAH.

30 CRJ CA openings for January and only one person wants to transfer there.

MSP is still way down from pre covid levels; however, they have seen steady increases in block hours since September. December will be the first month since covid that OO does more departures than 9e out of MSP for for DL.

Right now they “expect” to resume training first quarter next year for the guys/gals that were sent home during training amidst covid.
