OO bought 700s that flew for Delta Connection at Comair and they are now 550s for United. For planes that they don’t need, better to make a little cash. Replaced inside scope with 175SCs when the Gojet tails went offline.

And a lot of the 700s that started getting converted to 65 seat AA around the start of 2020 were formerly DL and UA. You can see the blue paint underneath where the stab trim wears away at it. And all the seat armrests are still a deep shade of blue too. If its a 7XXSK tail number, most likely it was United originally. Lots of EV flying around in AA colors, or in Skywest livery in the AA system. Still a few generic with 70 seat configs, but most are 65 now.

Yeah, I know they were, once upon a time. I meant the final holdout. The last era of the Brasilia was United flying, like LAX and PSP and stuff. The DL flying was ages ago. United already doesn't seem to care too much, seeing as a significant amount of their regional flying prior to Covid was on 200s and 145s. So just as the Brasilia was eventually relegated to UA before it went to ACE and Ameriflight and others, I too expect the 200 to slowly wind down until they're only flying UA and then finally go bye-bye. It's anyone's guess how long that will be, but they've all gotta be running out of hours or cycles before this decade is over.

Here is a random video of a bro in SLC shot the year the fleet wound down. You developed a narrative in your head but the facts are different.

Has anyone heard anything lately on when hiring may resume? It seems like SkyWest is doing far better than any of the other regionals and curious if there's any talks of hiring starting back up? What are schedules looking like? Are pilots meeting/exceeding their minimums to allow for this? I hit 1500 hours a couple months ago and I'm just sitting in limbo (still instructing and building time/experience) waiting for someone to maybe start hiring again one day...
