A little update on this and thank you for the responses. I am still in contact with the recruiter and told that they still want me in the next class tbd. SKW is the only regional that interests me and I have a good corporate gig if this doesn't happen. I expected a quicker outcome based upon internet accounts but I'm just going to continue waiting for the time being.

It felt like forever for me, and I was starting to worry if I should apply elsewhere, schedule interviews, etc etc, while at the same time I didn't want to move forward with someone else if I could go to SKW. I think they know it's tough for us to have to wait, but at the same time, there is of course a reason why it might take a while.
I got hired on the spot, but that was only because they had seats to fill in a class the following Monday. Lot's of possible factors, maybe it's you, maybe it's not. Don't lose sleep over it, airline hiring seems arbitrary, illogical and unpredictable from the pilot's perspective... even more so at the bigs.

Although it's actually better now than in decades past. Before they had the interwebs, all they could evaluate applicants on was what they put on a paper form. So most folks who had 1000 TPIC at a commuter would get called to interview... but they would interview 20, and only hire 0-3. Literally 0-15% chance once you got the interview. And it was real easy to get flagged as not eligible to re-apply.

Nowadays they ask more detailed questions and generally are able to screen applicants better before they call them. In general, if you get called, they think they want to hire you based on what they know about you from the app. Unless any skeletons pop up, the job is yours to lose. Even the bigs probably hire 70-80%+ at the interview these days. Once you get called.
