How hard are you willing to work?
If you are based somewhere with a ton of company OT it's easy to make money working 150% stand ups without breaking 117 limits. Anything you pick up on days off pays on top of reserve guarantee.

I made 60k before tax. Took home about 50. That was with 2 months of training pay, 8 months under the old TA (37.23/hour), and 2 months at 45/hour.
On reserve, I picked up on days off and would credit 104 a month. As a line holder, I would pick up incentive trips. I worked a lot, by choice, and credited 110-120 on average.
Downside: I might time out and have to bid reserve in a couple months.
Upside: I can afford everything I need to pay for. With the new TA, I don’t need work nearly as hard.
