Default Skywest DFW Base

Anyone think they'll ever be a future for Skywest at DFW on the AA side?

Not likely. I’d put more money on DAL for the Alaskan side.

Sounds like within the next 6 months we move into the DFW market as flying gets replaced by Envoy 175s up in ORD.

That's the rumor I heard also. And since PSA can't staff the Envoy 700s they're staying put in ORD also pushing us towards DFW.

We might be understaffed but they are still coming at the planned rate. Might take 2 years to complete the transfer but it's on schedule per our DO.

I had always heard that SkyWest won’t go into DFW since Xjet is already there. What’s different now?

True, but have they announced what's happening with the AA 700s yet?

That's what they said about ATL. What's different is expressjet is winding down its CRJ flying. They're soon going to be a one type operation of the E145 for United. That leaves the DFW crj flying open

Not yet. I've heard expressjet is going to wind down its crj flying and focus on being a United partner flying the 145

Word on the street is that XJT is going to increase flying for AA.
