200s start disappearing soon. All except for about 3 out of ORD I think. I hope PHX isn’t still running them.

I am talking about the CPA from 2012 splitting 20 CRJ’s between Xjet and SkyWest in LAX and DFW that expires next year. Other SKW CPA’s must be in place.

Just one in PHX for the SGU shuttle.

DFW-TVC is listed as operated by SkyWest on the AA website in their destinations section. Not sure what start date.

Edit - July 5 according to fly.AA

There's also the MEI and PIB out of both DFW and ORD that we do on the 200. It's an EAS route so doubt they'd waste a -700 on that.

No they won’t. I wouldn’t be surprised to see SkyWest pursue new EAS routes out of there though.

For those who haven't seen this on the TransStates thread.

From an AA company news letter:
---------
American’s contracts with regional carriers ExpressJet and Trans States to end next year

In an effort to improve consistency for our customers and simplify our regional operation, we have decided not to renew our contracts with ExpressJet and Trans States when they expire in April 2019. The changes will not affect our capacity or service levels in any of our markets, and we will work closely with all impacted partners to ensure smooth and gradual transitions from ExpressJet and Trans States to other existing American Eagle partners. Once the wind-down of these agreements is completed, American will have seven regional partners, down from 10 we had at the beginning of this year.
---------

My money is on this opening up an opportunity for us to have a DFW base, probably much sooner than April 2019.

An OKC mx base makes some sense. A giant OKC mx base only makes sense with DFW.

That hangar needs 375 employees based out of there within 5 years as part of the deal with the city. According to SkyWest, they only plan on having 100 mechanics. It's probably going to have to be a crew base at some point. I just don't know when.

Hangar construction is supposed to be done September according to the guy I spoke to down there. They're already doing MTX elsewhere until construction is finished.

Shouldn’t be to hard. SLC hanger has 327 MX employees... OKC is going to be bigger.
