OO Pilot E&E at LAX?
Rumor has it that an OO pilot was confronted by AS ground personnel today at LAX and asked to talk to a sup about possible intoxication... said pilot then allegedly attempted to escape and evade the ground staff and sup?

What is AS personnel? Alaska Airlines? If so, why would they be talking to an OO employee about that? Isn’t that what the police are for?

Supervisors have a responsibility in that area, namely to keep an impaired employee from doing safety-sensitive work. Read your SOP, or any SOP. Cops may get involved too...

If anyone knows something, this isn’t really the place to put it.

LAX is a domicile, so they have reserves, and probably ready.

Boy Rickair, sure seems like you are excited about this and hoping to find confirmation to the rumor you heard. One would think you would hope it wasn't true and if something did actually happen you would understand that this isn't the place to find out the "deets".
