Worked. As in past tense.

Mind linking some threads to relevant and current information than, if it is so readily available? I'm all ears.

I never said it made a difference to me. I'm just trying to understand the demographics as to why things are the way they are at SkyWest, currently. Things move quickly in aviation, and I've never been involved in 121. I'm looking for more information than "things are the way they are because that's the way things have been for the last 45 years".

It started changing about 2008. The management friendly era is long gone. Skywest relies on the lifers who don’t want to rock the boat and the new hires who come in and just want to get out to keep the unions away. The middle of the pack pilots for the most part are apathetic and pay no attention to anything. Come in and go home and don’t want anything to do with improving their lot.

Management knows that +50.1% of the pilot group has less then 3 year with the company. And i would bet you will see them shift to that generation now.. aka pay scale and bonuses vs. 401k ect..
