The company can change new hire pay at will, and will when necessary to fill classes.

Fortunately the company doesn’t have to address the rest of the pilot group pay because the wonder child’s at SAPA gave it away for so our president won’t have to ever fly.

There are some other company performance based bonuses that amount to a few hundred dollars to 1-2k, quarterly and semi-annually. I think you need a couple years on property for them.

Yes the pilots are locked in until 2022, 1% a year raise.

Our previous agreement before this one didn’t go full term. Anything could happen, but believe market forces will be the driver for better or worse.

I don’t know where you got that information but it is wrong.

It is correct. SAPA sold it hard and fast, they said it was imperative to pass it and that it had to be now because the offer/100 jets wouldn't be on the table for much longer.
They also made it point to go into the new hire class and sell it.
The president doesn't bid a line, I don't know if he stays current.

So what is the primary reason that SkyWest doesn't have a union? Does management treat them relatively well when the TA comes up for negotiation? How is OO so different, in that regard (union representation)?

All they need is a whole lot of Kool-Aid! In all seriousness, Skywest has a reputation of generally friendly management-labor relations. The tide seems to be changing as of late though...

How many times do we have to beat this dead horse?

That depends. When are you going to provide actual answers to people that ask legitimate questions, realizing that some people ask questions to receive genuine answers, rather than assume everyone is here to troll and start flame wars while you continue to provide absolutely nothing useful?

I guess it's going to be a while.

The answers you want are in at least 50 other pages of other threads. Read and you'll get answers instead of asking the same worn out questions that have been asked a gazillion times. Besides, does it make a difference to you if Skywest is union or not? It's not union because it's worked well without one for 45 years.
