West Coast-ERJ or CRJ?

Yes. If you defer more than 6 months you'll have to interview again, though.

Thanks for the reply Turbosina!
How does aircraft selection work with SkyWest? I'd want the ERJ since I would want to be LAX based. Is it via age or last four of your SS#? Same thing for where you want to be based out of.

You designate the plane you want in your interview or when they offer you the job. You get it if they have enough openings in the new hire class.

LAX is both ERJ and CRJ. Above post is correct about aircraft selection. But you can also elect to defer class date until the one you want becomes available - not suggested though.

When I interviewed in August I was told if I wanted ERJ I would have to wait until January or February to start training as classes were backed up that far. Of course that was 3 months ago and a lot has changed since then.

Since the new aircraft were announced they opened multiple ERJ classes prior to the end of the year. No more wait list.

Which fleet is larger at LAX, the CRJ or ERJ? Or can you point me in the direction of where I can find that info?

Someone told me that your newer E175s have upgraded Honeywell flight decks with cursors and more colorful PFDs, etc. Will all of your E175s be upgraded to this standard? I haven't seen it myself.
