If I remember correctly the initial US Air contract for PHX flying was only for 3 years and the original AE flying contract out of LAX was for 4 years.
Granted they were for old 200's DL was parking not brand new ejets.

Yeah but the "future growth" in phx has yet to be seen, and buddy that went to a compass presentation said that eagle flying in phx will be announced in addition to the delta flying that was recently announced.

No one knows... zero is being said by management... makes me think there is more to this story... if it was that cut and dry they would have posted something... but they also realy didn't post much about the 5 starting March... (they accidentally sliped and said it on the last Q call)

They do them on the xjt side all the time though.
Just as a interesting side note, that was originally being negotiated for xjt but inc nixed it and took it for themselves when they bought xjt. Probably too far west for comfort.
