I don't think any Skywest pilots would believe it. Might I be wrong?
The difference in pay between TA and No TA was less than 2% because 1% was already coming. The second year guys could still upgrade and they would also get the step from year 2 to year 3. That did not come about from the TA.

Wasn't there 1@ already coming in 2018 from the past agreement?
You should have been getting at least 20% anyway.
A captain of a 70 seat jet should be making more than a base salary of $59,280. Even a 20% raise would only be $72,000.
That's not a lot of money for someone based in San Francisco.
That's not a lot of money for someone based in Los Angeles.
That's not a lot of money for someone based in Chicago.
That's not a lot of money for someone based in Salt Lake.
That's not a lot of money for someone based in Seattle.

If the pay steps from 2 to 10 were not so steep it would not be so bad.
It is not 1982 anymore when an airline pilot made 144,000 flying a 727 and the average person in a good job make 18,000. Hell, even then a DC-9 captain with 80 seats made 120,000 plus. Yes, the wages had to come down to market but they have gone too far and need to go up. Almost all the pilots from my last airline are now flying over seas because there they get the market value for a pilot.

I believe I said 59,280, not 56k. at 65 an hour times your guarantee of 76 times 12 months gives you the 59280. What you fly overtime does not count when comparing salaries. I guess if people want to lie to themselves they can.
Starting salary for someone getting out of college from a second rate school in engineering is over 60k.
