What numbers should I run? I don't have any past averages for soft pay. I've never seen a decent break down of what the soft pay bonus increase should be. Excluding the 401K of course. I do understand how that can add up quickly. My last job had a 10% 401K match. I saved nearly 50K in a short time.

When you have to work your butt to the bone to make that money, it's pointless. Unless you had 17 days off a month, then its impressive. FOs at majors in year 2 make 160-190K a year working about 14 days a month

Big surprise, no big announcement coming. Convinced enough people there would be though.
"Mike did say it was unlikely there would be any major announcements with the earnings call coming up end of July."

Year 6 as well, made $114k, only flew 600ish...flew smart, not a lot. Again, very easy to make decent money here as a captain. But I guess it's also very easy to complain about why you're not making legacy pay in the current position you're in.

I am actively trying to get out, but I'm not complaining about my pay. I was a no voter for several reasons, but compared to the rest of the world, I'm relatively high paid.

This shouldn't be about comparing to the rest of the world or what it was like when you were a second year FO, etc. It should be about what the total compensation is today! What are your peers making and what is the financial health and future of your employer. Those are the things you use to judge whether 6% increase is reasonable. Are you in the middle tier compared to your peers and financial healthy? Or are you at the top end and in financial dire straits? In the first scenario, you should be getting a lot more than the person in the second scenario. And the other thing to consider is how long do you want to lock yourself in during a pilots' market? And lastly, in a pilots' market, the ONE thing management wants is to be able to raise first pay whenever they feel they have to. Once you give that leverage away, you've got very little to go on afterward. It's one thing if you got something by giving away that leverage, but is 6% worth it? Maybe not in a pilots' market.

What does this even mean? Are you ok with making 114k while your peers make twice as much for less work/responsibility?

I'm around number 1500 for overall seniority, bid 60-65% as a 175 line holder (I don't count reserves when calculating my percentage), and I'll make over 150K.
