So, then Delta is making a mistake bringing much of their feed in house? Their billions in profit must be managed by a bunch of bafoons. Surely they'd make more money with you at the helm. You clearly only care about your stock doing well, not that for a long time, pilots were getting paid near poverty wages. Hey, whatever gives you dividends, right?

And you're right. I care about me and my fellow pilots. Airlines are making billions and paying their subcontractor labor pennies. They can afford to pay them better, and if that means it if no longer sustainable, then bring it back in house.

The fact that pilots choose their career path and not forced into that line of work has nothing to do with "dividends" . It is a tired old pathetic argument to **** and moan about wages. It is a gamble of a career that the smart ones understand there is going to be some struggle at first, that may not pay off later.
I never said there were none. Regionals will still fill a roll, but I'd like it to be at a much smaller presence. By the way, Delta has or soon will have a hundred less RJs than their competition. With the arrival of the C-series, they could park even more... Yet they still are one of the most profitable airlines. Yet, you think they shouldn't be able to compete because mainline pilots are too expensive.

It will come this week. Plenty of new planes. That will lead to most people working the max days per month possible with little time off. And because Skywest does so much feed, the majors will continue to bypass hiring their pilots in order to protect said feed. ULCC, LCC, military, southwest, Alaska, etc etc will continue to lose pilots to the majors. But hey, you will be flying a shiny new jet for peanuts with no hope of advancing.

No you really are delusional. Bad naming the Regionals and wishing their demise after you made it on to some major using said Regionals. Are you going to be on of those guys on here harrasing regional forums even after you made it out?

Again the only person that you care about is yourself. If you actually cared about anyone else you wouldn't have even typed ME, you would have just said fellow pilots. Typical pilot pulling the ladder undermeath them after making it out. You think you're trying to help but you're just delusional.

I agree.... There has been massive hiring by the majors happening this year, but many of the new-hires hail from military, LCC, ULCC, ACMI and 135 corporate origins. The majors are indeed hiring regional captains, but not as many as regional pilots like to believe. I guess what I'm trying to say to all regional pilots is, get on with an LCC/ACMI whomever else and aim for the legacy. Don't sit it out at the regionals if the call isn't coming.

I've always been anti-regional. I'm pro-pilot and anti-subcontractor. I think all flying should be done by mainline.

If you think that's pulling the ladder up, that's your delusion.

Says the guy who doesn't work at Skywest but does hold stock while convincing them to vote in a B contract. I was the one saying vote no so they could get better money. Who is the anti-regional guy now?

You really can't help yourself can you? You think you know it all. I guess you can't fix stupid. By the way I'm assuming you went to Delta with all your Delta posts.
