Well some one I talked to had a good pount. That it passed "perfectly". 56% Not enough to give the company the we have them feeling a 80% pass would have..And it was reaffirmed by the sapa email last night. The great thing about being "non-union" is they are starting to work on-non pay QOL items right now...

are you sure about that? if that were really the case then I cant see how any FO would ever vote yes to this... I also never read anything which made me think that was something that was on the table..
Either way terrible vote and I realize that the pilot group at least 56% of em it would seem are spineless company men.
If anything I do hope new hires realize this and go somewhere else where their future will be for the next 6 - 8 years anyways.

What does improving QOL at an airline have to do with having a union or not? I'm not trying to say that we need a union to get QOL enhancements at OO, but the way that some of you denigrate the concept of having a union makes me think that you will be hard-pressed to fit in at a union air carrier of your choice one day.

Wait, people can come over from any airline and keep their seniority in not only pay but bidding too?

+1.
The way I understood it, is that they maintain pay at their current rate at other carrier, but still fall in line seniority-wise like a new hire.
Which is it?

As far as bidding for schedule and bases you will start like a new hire.
Again, the details have not been made public.
