In 2016, skywest made $207 million dollars. In the same period, xjt lost $20 million. Yet, in that same time period they gave xjt pilots a small raise and retention bonus, and a few work rule improvements, on top of our top tier contract (do you need me to post it again?). They just recently announced more bonuses and are negotiating more raises and work rule improvements, despite the continued loses!
If you just look at bonuses (not to mention contract improvements like RAH), every other regional has dramatically increased cost. Yet they were either able to live with the increased costs or gotten a better deal from mainline.
Of course management is going to be biased towards suppressing pilot compensation as much as possible. It's their job and fiduciary responsibility to stockholders. You need an advocate on your side to push back on that that also has a legal responsibility to you as the stockholders have with management.
If you think that what you have now, including this pay package is adequate, you are selling yourself very short.
Thinking you are worth more is not a burn it down mentality.

What contractor is going to be able assume the Skywest feed? No one. RAH went into BK and renegotiated their contracts.
I almost wonder if they have a low ball offer with two pronged purpose. The pilots vote Yes and they save money. The pilots vote no, they go to mainline with "proof" that the current CPA is unprofitable to trigger a RAH-like bump.

Tell that to Skywest management. They were the ones who negotiated the money losing CPA 9 years ago. The CAL CPA was profitable up until that point. No employee asked for any of this so don't make it personal against anyone other than management.
But that wasn't the point of what I wrote. They've been low balling you guys for years, that's the point.
