BTW Russ is a very pro-pilot advocate who helped me on several occasions during my 10 years at SkyWest.

Not sure if anyone else caught it but Alaska announced we're operating E175s out of Dallas Love starting end of August, increasing in October. Not sure how they would operate out of Love without opening a base. Not sure how they could flow pilots from other bases there.

Well, we did move our hotel in Dallas almost strategically placed between the two airports...

My guess is DFW overnight, day 2 turn to LGA, day 3 turn to DCA, home on day 4 out of DFW.

Thanks for posting Russ. I appreciate your input and feedback.

Is it true that Alaska only has two gates at DAL? Not that it means anything but Is base with two gates?

I was discussing this with other pilots and someone just said "Oh they're gonna flow Chicago pilots down there". Ok... how... two leg deadhead? Deadhead on SWA out of MDW?

Giving guys their equal pay is SMART business. If you have to staff extra planes, this is a good way to go.

Most people on here complaining do so habitually. If they gave us a 15% raise, they would ***** about it (why not 17%?!) They need to stop being so selfish and try and see the big picture. WE AREN'T GOING TO GET MAINLINE/LCC MONEY!

This is a good TA for who we are and we need to understand that. Do you want growth? Better pay? Better QOL? Upgrade faster? Be based at and/or closer to home? Then VOTE YES.

I'M VOTING YES (and you should too!)
Who will staff it? Who can add 500 captains to their seniority list? I'll give you a hint. NO ONE.

So many pilots would jump on that opportunity to be based in Texas again.

They just moved all the sims around. Added new FTD training devices, they could easily train for it..

My point was no one accept Skywest could take this on. We have over 500 FOs that currently qualify for the left seat that could upgrade tomorrow if the QOL was there.
