So if other pilots from other regionals come here, and keep their pay grade, why wouldn't I ( as a relative new hire ) leave and go to thier airline, pick up thier new hire/ type bonus and movement since skywest scooped them all up? 🤔

If you're jumping ship over to our company and picking up your pay where it left off and getting a nice $7500 bonus then yes. But if we're about to add that many aircraft and CRJ upgrade times already at the lowest they can be, I don't see how people can possibly complain about movement here. If you want to upgrade at this company what is stopping you? Unless you choose QOL over the upgrade

From a Chief pilot:
>100 to 120 additional aircraft.
>1200 additional pilots
>Pilots from other airlines will be paid at the years of service from their previous airline
>20 to 60 brand new CRJ 900 Light? from the factory, 70 seats 900 varient
>2 additional bases, DFW and ATL, IAH grows again
If it passes?
Voting Yes

Instead we get vague emails that say "growth opportunities" and rumors flying left and right from people saying "I talked to____" "_____ sat in the jump and told me"
Seriously? That's how we vote for these things?

There are no pilots left out there.
Right now all of the contracts are at about 50% of what the market value for a pilot is. The only thing holding things back are the contracts that you have now. Whoever signs a contract now is being stupid. Let the others ratchet up the pay scales.
They need you more than you need them at this point.
You do not want an extension. You don't even want an agreement at this point.

This. This a thousand times.

So nobody can answer how you guys think it's logical to vote yes based off rumors. If all this was true why didn't they just tell us it before the package? Probably would sway more votes in their favor.

My guess is is that it is contingent on this TA passing to an extent and they don't want to let potential investors think something's coming and then it doesn't, but who really knows. I will say at least from my memory that whebercthere was strong rumors of growth like this it happened.
They are low balling you and using their growth as the carrot to get you to bite on an otherwise unattractive offer.

I'm not doubting the growth. I'm doubting that it is contingent on a yes vote. The growth is completely separate. Like I've said, they aren't going to throw away that much revenue because you voted no. You don't have that much power over company finances.

I'm not pushing one way or the other, just food for thought.
The other question is are we willing to gamble on the chance that we don't see that much growth with a no vote and cost ourselves some possible opportunities.
I am skeptical but intrigued.

Growth will still happen regardless. The question is will it be the same amount of growth or will it happen as quickly as the company otherwise could have.

Giving guys their equal pay is SMART business. If you have to staff extra planes, this is a good way to go.
Most people on here complaining do so habitually. If they gave us a 15% raise, they would ***** about it (why not 17%?!) They need to stop being so selfish and try and see the big picture. WE AREN'T GOING TO GET MAINLINE/LCC MONEY!
This is a good TA for who we are and we need to understand that. Do you want growth? Better pay? Better QOL? Upgrade faster? Be based at and/or closer to home? Then VOTE YES.
I'M VOTING YES (and you should too!)

QOL improvements through growth?
In my experience there has been one constant: Needs of the airline always come before you.
If the company takes on growth or becomes short on staffing they will simple program PBS to put more flying on your schedule.
This TA contains no outright improvements to QOL. No additional days offs etc.
