Very long while. SAN is a "lifer" base so won't be much movement, especially on the CA side. Everyone will be entrenched until the base is closed again.

No. Nobody gets hired at Mesa. You just accept a class when the recruiter wears you down with phone calls. So technically speaking, everyone's been hired at Mesa.

Hindsight sux..... if you had gone to OO you would be in LAX holding a line and probably sitting RSV in SAN starting next month.

True. It's all good though, have a nice 135 helicopter gig at MYF and home every night. Just a 30 year habit of always looking around to see what's out there.

Anyone else in the Aug. 17th 175 Class? And for those curious, I interviewed a week ago, got the call the next day and took this class date. I had the option to start tomorrow, but that was too soon for me.

Aiming to get a class date and relocate to Denver this coming summer. Most important QOL factors for me are upgrade time and living in base (two things that seem hard to come by in DEN). With that, is the CRJ or ERJ a better move?

CRJ you have COS also. Almost better in my opinion. Dive down for 20hr 3 day trips. Or DEN 20 hr 4day’s.. i would say its 50/50 shot at deciding ERJ vs CRJ in DEN

Really happy I’ve been offered a job with SkyWest, don’t start until April so got a little time to think of CRJ or ERJ. Trying to look at this practically and not with shiny jet syndrome! If location wasn’t an issue, what AC/location combo would you go to get the quickest to 1000hrs?

I realize I have to wait my turn in seniority before upgrade, but at least want to get the hours squared away.

My take:

If I was wanting to fly a whole bunch and get hours to move on I’d pick the CRJ

If I wanted to chill in base, I’d pick the ERJ
