Captain side it is currently at 2 years and going down for most junior captain on the 900 and right around the same for the 200. It is stupid to go to Skywest and earn 20k/yr less rather than commute to New York for a couple of months.
The key piece of info in there is that 9E is senior for CA.

You will be a CA in DTW the second you meet 121 minimums. And you will get DTW out of training. People come to SKYW for the west coast basis. If you want DTW you are golden.

Yes, pay is lower at SKYW and from what I hear QOL sucks compared to 9E but you cut out any chance of commute as an FO *** and *** CA.

I agree if you are coming in with previous 121 time, if not you would upgrade in DTW in roughly the same amount of time at both companies. While currently you would be more senior at Skywest, projecting two years ahead at any regional is nearly impossible as anything could happen.

Default E175 san fo

Gents, I see the company website has October hire FOs holding SAN. How long are they sitting reserve at SAN? Line holders, what kind of trips. How much open time is available/ actual flight hrs gained per month. SAN domicile is game changer for my situation. Although I miss out on bonus with compass in LA or NW with Horizon.

Actually pretty nice trips.. ive had my eye on going to the E175 SAN. More AS birds coming this year also so should see trip mix get better.... Bonus money isn’t everything.. SAN has trips that go up down west coast, MEX. and even trips that hit DAL/DCA/LGA...

From what I have read it seems like it would be pretty easy to get. How many planes are based out of Atlanta? Is it only the CRJ200?
