Not defending anyone but can anyone tell where that is at? It kind of looks like T3 on the northeast side of 13/31. The Jepp charts make T3 look like it goes straight across but it angles slightly and is poorly lit. I could see how it could be a problem if you are taxiing fast.

Even if that is the case, do you not see a reoccurring problem with this airline? I witness it on practically every trip. Rush, rush, rush. This kind of stuff doesn't surprise me anymore and as a matter of fact I have to shake my head and chuckle about it. It's just miraculous that no one every seems to get killed.

Cancel the NTSB Go team, Whack has it all figured out.

Not like he doesn't have a point... (Even though you could never agree with him simply out of principle.)

What am I wrong about? Are you actually going to disagree with me that we seem to have a problem keeping airplane on the pavement?

No insider info, just looking at a picture with J/T4 intersection sign visible to the captains side and LEDs still extended and reading a tweet that said a boom was heard in the cabin.

So you land 13 and try to take T3 at 60 knots...and then your right main blows a tire and you veer right in the dirt?

Only the data will tell the truth...but for now everyone can Wednesday-morning quarterback.

Personal lesson learned, just slow down. Efficiently and on time do not matter if safety is missing in the front of the statement.

No response Whack?

Since speed was apparently not an issue (as you so defiantly proclaimed), what can you lay blame on now?

Possibly just a bad night on the line? Something that any of us could fall prey to?

Something akin to what your two brothers - from that recently acquired airline of flawless aviators - now in an SWA cockpit together, encountered recently off the taxiway in RIC?

Southwest plane goes off taxiway at RIC, no injuries reported

What?

Whack said nothing wrong or out of line in this thread. If you disagree please quote him and explain.
