Actually, not new. I first read of one of these some 10-15 years ago. Alaskan 737 on takeoff; crew sees a bald eagle crossing their path at rotation. He's carrying a large fish.
He sees them coming, and jettisons his external stores. Bounces off the FO's windscreen.
