Default A330 pilots talks pilot proficiency

Hello all,

I did an interview with A330 pilot Karlene Petitt about pilot proficiency in the context of Asiana 214. She gets into some detail about flying the Airbus vs Boeing, patterns that pilots develop after relying on automation day in and day out, training, etc.

In part 2 (a separate podcast) she talks about her career, which spans 8 airlines, furloughs, mergers, equipment type, how she got her first job as an FE and stayed flying through consolidations.

Part 2 is relevant to the career thread here where pilots have been wondering how to get noticed in a sea of applicants.

You can listen on iTunes or Android by searching for PlaneViz or go to the website and listen there. PlaneViz.com. Enjoy!

Note: I am new here so purposely did not put links in this post nor do I sell anything on the site or podcast; it's just straight content.
