Default Piedmont Dash Belly-landing at EWR

Might be time for USAirways to start thinking about replacing those old tired Dash-8s.... Gear up landing at the sewer (EWR)

What's the latest at Piedmont as far as fleet status?

Great job by the crew. Looks like they managed to keep the wings level on the roll out too.

And monsters out there cam tell us if this the the plane that had a history of gear door problems? I rode out of ISP on them, and they had a door problem on the climb out. Capt said that, "This tail has had a long problem of doing this."

Nicely done crew...... Kudos.... I'd suggest not giving your name out or posing for pictures afterwards however...... It's a great job but a little tact and professionalism by not taking pictures would probably be best.....

Who are you to make suggestions to a 25+ year captain who just belly landed a prop without throwing a blade through a window? Taking pictures is not abnormal after any incident/accident, if anything its smart.
