Sometimes you just have to slow down a little...

I guess we don't really have all the facts yet. Just poking fun at my fast taxiing buddies over there!
I was thinking the same thing.

No one knows what happened yet. We all know they taxi pretty quick over there, but at the same time the pilots aren't idiots. We all slow down on contaminated surfaces.

Maybe they lost steering? Who really knows what happened. It's easy to judge when all the facts aren't presented.

Glad everyone is alright

Default SWA slides off taxiway in DEN

Maybe they should taxi slower than V1 when it's slippery.

If you're losing steering, you use the brakes. If you end up in the ditch because you lost steering and the brakes didn't work fast enough, you were going too fast anyway.

It's the same as driving, you need to slow your speed down for inclement weather, that may mean not taking the high speed at high speed, or rolling out a bit further to slow down to a safe turning speed.

This is pilot error 100%, and doesn't surprise me at all for coming from WN who has a history of such poor judgement. Could have happened to anybody, but it didn't for a reason.

So, you must have been on the jumpseat in this aircraft watching it all unfold to be able to make a statement like that.

Well I'm sure glad you're so much in the know to call it 100% pilot error without any of the facts being known.

Next time I play the lottery I'll be sure to hit you up for the winning numbers too!

Default Safe Landin

I think only SWA slides off TW at that time,,,coze Pilot didn't request rw condition and tehy couldnt control or to use brake system correctly on touching down and created a huge distration..and result slide off

Close, but not the jumpseat.

Would love to give more details, but already received an infraction for my involvement in this thread.

......because providing specific details and some actual facts to back up your opinions is bad?
Looking at your posts in this thread, the only reason for you to get an infraction was for flame-bait and pure speculation. Now you think actually providing some details to back up your first ridiculous post in this thread would be grounds for another infraction?
