Looks like a Pawnee to me too. Poor guy. Rest in peace and prayers for his family.

It is a Gippsland GA-200 manufactured in Australia near Melbourne powered by a Lycoming IO-540 with 250 hp. Has side-by-side seating vs single seat, like a Pawnee, and is sometimes used in training. It was designed using the PA-25 Piper Pawnee with Aussie modifications. Often called the "Fat Man". My prayers to the family and friends, as well.
