Default More on the QX jumpseater & pilot/atc health

Interesting interview with Mr Emerson, but he does bring up a good point towards the end.

To be frank, he should never be allowed to fly again nor should anyone who is taking any kind of Drugs, even the ones the FAA just approved. I believe it’s a massive ask for another incident and once it happens it will be difficult for the FAA to back paddle on why they approved these drugs in the first place.

Oh look, a pilot who disagrees with doctors. I'm guessing you're a freedom flyer too..it's amazing how bad of an argument you make that you'd rather fly with someone with an undiagnosed mental health condition, a literal ticking time bomb, than someone who seeks out help and is being treated by several physicians.

I'm also guessing you think being a pilot requires one to pass an astronaut physical.

There’s a special on FX tonight at 2200 EDT and streaming on Hulu tomorrow called “Lie to Fly”. I think this guy is featured in it.
