Well that's good. Not sure if the policy that flip-flopped was LH/German Wings or CAA. Maybe it was initially just operator policy. But it definitely went back and forth in the aftermath.

It takes a lot longer to shut down than you might think.
And even if they flame out they'll relight instantly when you restore fuel if the N2 hasn't spooled down too much (assuming some kind of auto-ignition for uncommanded rollback/low N2). Worst case you might have to remember to turn on the ignition.
