Commutair is basically immediate upgrade if you come in with 1000 hours of 121 time. I know someone personally who was hired in June and never flew a leg as a FO.

When can we expect to know upgrade times under a single operating certificate?

Single soc won't change this. It has been one list since the beginning of time.

No, he's not Envoy either. But he trolls our threads spouting the same nonsense if it makes you feel better.

For those interested in applying to Repubic, I interviewed on Wednesday and was told I'd spend at least 9-10 months in PIT, EWR, or LGA; seems to contradict the advertising a little bit. Was a pleasant interview, but I don't really fancy those domiciles...

So does that mean PHL is senior? I'm looking at relocating to the east coast for republic or piedmont. Maybe piedmont is the way to go.

If I were looking for a regional these days I'd go where I'd either upgrade quickest or flow fastest followed by pay (retention bonuses, etc).

What are the current upgrade times at Republic?
Can't find it with the usual sources.
C-5 is the way to go..... he'll fly E145 and they'll updrade him to Capt as soon as he feels comfortable.

Great group of guys/gals & from what i hear very good training & the'll get him through as long as he has good attitude and efforts towards it during initial.

C5 (COMMUTAIR) will send your friend to Upgrade class if he feel up to it after he completes FO IOE.... he may not even last a month on the line as an FO.

You can't spoon feed your friend forever, he'll need to get back up to speed on whats going on in the industry. Come out the closet buddy. Regionals in 2016 are much different vs 5-10yrs ago (pre bankruptcy).

Due to lack of competition from mergers & fuel hedging practices, ancillary fees, leaner cost structures, capacity control strategies. Majors are less likely to belch like before.

Tell your friend blue skys full sails ahead.

Disclaimer: Pending no WW3, due to Kim John Ewww's fat ars pushing buttons like a Loony Toon/Anamanic over at the DPRK.

No time to post that bird kid: "I push the button, let me push the button." "Elevator goes down the hooooole" video/GIF.
