Republic returning 18 E170s today...

The regionals in question were very much established with that flying at their respective majors. XJT was part of Continental, just as Eagle was and still is part of AA. Horizon marketed it's own name for Alaska. Then Skywest came in to do it cheaper.
You went to an airline, and helped staff it, that came in and replaced those pilots for cheaper. That is why it is happening at RAH now. That is why it is hard to feel sorry for you when you complain about what is happening.

But not sure anyone can replace the flying. Delta already shopped rah's flying around during the lawsuit and couldn't find any takers.
I do believe we are in a different Era in regards to whipsaw'n us against each other.

What you are seeing now, is all of the regionals, that did it on the cheap, are starting to collapse first.

You are correct. Which makes his complaining even more perplexing. If the flying is shifted elsewhere, it will either be at a regional with better pay and likely path to the majors or to a major itself. All good things vs. what we dealt with the past 10 years.

So you call Envoy being a regional with better pay with a path to a legacy? This really isn't a knock at Envoy, itself, more of a discrepancy in your point. My argument has never been about where flying goes it's about jackasses on here being tools, for the third time now. You must have a comprehension problem.

Well, not sure anyone but endeavour has a better "contract" than rah. But to your point, if anybody raises their contract to the aforementioned two regionals - it won't be cheaper, hence flying won't shift like it did the last decade. PSA has "flow" but not sure staffing looks so good. Envoy, maybe able to take the flying - but it looks like rah owns their own metal. But ya nvr kno.
