Again, I will say it hear. Delta is not on the creditor board. I highly doubt they will be able to just come sweeping in buying out YX without UA or AA and all the others having a say in it.
Also just because they may be providing financing, does that mean YX will have to take it (all)?

Between the DIP financing and the unsecured claim Delta is in the drivers seat. If the unsecured creditors committee doesn't fairly represent Delta I'm sure we will see lawsuits. I also wouldn't be surprised to see a motion filed adding Delta to the committee since they are now by far the largest unsecured creditor.

They aren't on the unsecured creditors committee but part of the DIP financing is allowing a 170 million dollar unsecured pre petition claim. This amounts to about 2/3-3/4 of the entire amount of unsecured claims.

The point is there is now a mechanism and president for breaking apart the list. Personally I don't think it will happen but to say it cannot happen is incorrect also.

Okay so how unlikely is this for a theory? Delta pays for Rjet's bankruptcy to park all 50-seaters (Pinnacle move). Pending court approval which won't happen without the rebuttals of UAL and AAG, Delta owns Rjet. So then what? 50-seaters go away making a surplus of 500 pilots if they don't bug out. There would be no furloughs. Delta takes 30 E-jets and leaves Rjet with AAG and UAL E-jets together with a surplus of pilots. Delta flies the 30 E-jets however they have it planned. How about it?
