Referring to scope, No, cuz they will have to lift it to Endeavour and all the DCI carriers. If I was Endeavour pilot I will be right now a bit nervous, it changes the model completely....IMHO this is a game changer, not only said by what I think, but MSNBC, Reutters, Forbes, etc...With comcerns to man power, they can find it, also consider the bridge program they have with some carriers !!!

It is great news for the pilots at Compass, Republic, and Endeavor. Delta will need to add pilots to fill those airplanes (as long as they are not just simply replacing the older jets that are there now).

Why? I'd be worried if I were a non-owned DCI carrier, especially a DCI carrier that's in chapter 11 proceedings. Initially, it doesn't change anything, they're just moving from the E-190 to the CS100.

Exactly, the trend seems to be that all mainline carriers are slowly taking flying back from contract lift. I think the wholly owned carriers will continue to grow, and we'll see the others shrink substantially. Also, one could argue that wholly owned flying is essentially in house flying. They have a lot more control and flexibility over the contract venders. The CS- series won't be a good fit for all routes flown by an RJ

This thread continues to get more and more ridiculous. The next two years at Republic is going to be difficult, your career at this point would be better in the long term at almost any other carrier in the country. People even bringing up the C series on here is a sign of nothing but desperation.

Oh, but this bankruptcy is going to be different than all the others. B.B. has been completely honest with us. Barf

Scope, they can purchase the delivery slots from rah but rah has not even tried in bk to get out of the deal with the c series. This is the interesting part.

delta will replace the b717 for the c series, the c will be more comfortable and way more economic than the 717.
