I disagree completely. On the regional side, I completely agree.

Ahhh, so code share they don't care, but mainline they care. Do tell why that is. Note: Liability is the same.

Ego, status quo, higher standards, much larger applicant pool, more military pilots, and culture to name a few. I took your comment to mean that it is just as easy to get hired at a major as it is a regional.

So a high school dropout shows up one day in the 1970's to fly a piper Navajo for Hughes, and eventually retires a Delta widebody captain is higher standards? Scabs who get seniority numbers helps promote culture?

Delta will waive the college degree requirement if you are from Endeavor.

The point I'm making is that negotiating will always take place with management between the pilots for deals that are in mutual interest. That may include regional pilots getting free jobs at mainline. Management doesn't care.

Endeavor would have a flowthrough if either Delta management or Delta pilots cared enough to get it... neither side gives a rat's *** about Endeavor pilots thought (other than the fight over profit sharing.. sharing of Endeavor's profits that is)

The only fight worth fighting would be to get represented by D-ALPA or DPA. Oh wait, pipe dreams.

In your hypothetical world are the pilots merged into Deltas list? If not, their scope won't allow it. And why would they want to accept a bunch of pilots they haven't vetted themselves. Highly unlikely, but I suppose there have been some strange things that have happened in this industry.

Rumors at Delta make it sound like the 190s are dead.
