I love how someone who lives in an outhouse with a different company name on it throws excrement at a competing outhouse vendor. Both places are shi**y - who cares what name is on he side? I would recommend that if you post such idiocracy and negative opinions about another place other than your own, you include your place of employment so that people can return fire. Your outhouse is no cleaner than the next.

Exactly; last time I checked, we're all in this together....except PSA.

Good luck to all the interviewees, hope to see you on the line.
It's been a long time since i interviewed, but i think they give you a ATP written-esque sort of test.
P.S., nevetmind the trolls; they interviewed at RAH, but were rejected.

Thank goodness they did. They all went to other regionals with better contract rules and better pay. Shoot even upgraded quicker.

There is so much uncertainity everywhere, literally no company is even a remotely safe bet- espicially if you are only starting out.

I'm happy republic bros and sisters got a nice raise, you guys deserve it and fought hard for it. It's not near what you deserve but will help in the interim.

At this point, there's so much change going on at such a rapid pace that whoever has slightly better pay or whoever has a slightly better edge for whatever reason is irrelevant, because every 6 months or so that will be outdated and someone else will on top.

When a person is dying they sometimes go through something called agonal respirations. It's a reflex signaled by your brain where the person makes a few huge gasps of air right before they die. When it happens it's too late to save them, the agonal breathing is simply an indication of what's to come. This is what is going on with the regional industry right now. A couple last few gasps of a little extra money, quick upgrade maybe, trickle flow/pref interview whatever, in reality it's too late.

There's a hurricane coming and this shanty town of regional airlines is going to be unrecognizable when it's through.

Please and Thank you.

Hey cf105 I'd be happy to help!

I interviewed in late September, but I would imagine not much has changed...

They start off with having you lay out all of your paperwork on a table while one of the check pilots looks it over. While thats going on Stacy, or one of the other recruiters does a presentation about the company. That lasts about 30 or 45 mins.

After that they give you a 25 question test... most of the questions were off of the old ATP written.

Then they'll bring you upstairs for a one on one. The check pilot will have you brief a Jeppesen approach. If its the same one that I got, make sure to note the change in minimums if tall ships are in the area.

Then they'll have you read a METAR and TAF. Just know what all of the remarks mean... that'll make them warm and fuzzy. Other than that it was all HR related questions. "Tell us about a time when you had to deal with a bad coworker, tell us about an emergency situation you were in... etc."

Overall, pretty simple. They were really friendly, made you feel comfortable.

Good luck! I'm sure you'll get the offer. Like the others said, they're hurting pretty bad at the moment.
