Three year contract? Three years passes very quickly. The pilots will be back where they started after this agreement is ready for renegotiation. It will probably be several more years before a new contract (if Republic is still around at that time). For the pilots who voted "No" for the new contract, you're smart people. For those pilots who voted "yes" for the new contract, you're idealistic and misguided individuals.

Lga on republic side is growing fast. Jfk shuttle impossible as the company wants to get rid of 145s. Lga on shuttle side will not see new hires as well. However, things are so dynamic things can change in a heartbeat

Nope. I'm just me, but I don't sugarcoat my complete and utter disdain for the regional industry. It's a huge stain on aviation that never should have happened.

Seattlepilot...what about a new hire getting DCA out of training? Is DCA junior/senior and how long would reserve last? Are most new hires going straight into the 170/175 or do they have to start out in the 145? Thanks, I'll turn down my old me now and let you answer.

But yes, of course they're lying. It's all a big scam.

we never walked on the moon, 9/11 was a CIA deal, we control ISIS and all the regionals are going bankrupt real fast (Republic should be gone by Christmas, Xpress will be done by Easter, etc, etc).

So, all you guys with the insiders-only info and knowledge on the future at RAH, PAS, X, bankrupt by Christmas and all pilots laid off, or by Summer 2016?
