I knew at first I would be the junior guy making nothing and knew that if worst came to worst I would be taking home a paycheck that reflected 75 hours of pay and 11 days off and I wouldn't be ****ed at anyone because that was all that was promised to me. I wasn't promised a line or to be used on reserve so I did not expect anything more. The fact that I made more and flew more in my mind made things better because it was more than what was promised to me.
So what if you get used right up to 75 hours, yea that sucks money wise but you are still building time, personally I don't want to be at the regionals my whole life and to get out you need experience among other things and the more the better.
So many people bit$h about this place or any regional for that matter, and all I'm saying is why in the world are you complaining when you know what is being offered from day one. You can try and place blame on whatever you want but in the end the only person who made you come to this place is yourself and in my mind if you hate it that much go somewhere that you think is better.
Oh boy, you'd better be careful! Magnus, sqkvfr and other goons may be waiting for you in the parking lot. How dare you state logic and common sense at the same time!
FWIW, I agree with you 100%, BUT I didn't have my a$$ kissed my whole life and I know what BAD is(as I'm sure you do). These whiney(mostly fo's) will pi$$ and moan til the cows come home thinking that they were somehow wronged, when in fact: THEY WERE NOT!
I'd better stop and let magnus fill out an ASAP over my post

Throwing F/O's under the bus does nothing to solidify your group, instead it fractures it and you now have just played right into managements hand.
If you are happy with your crappy pay and working conditions and horrible retirement, then my hat is off to you.

You do know that upgrading has absolutely nothing to do with smarts, at all, right?

Call that SJS if you want... I'll call it more smarts with a bit of luck.
Back to the thread ... I was also one of the guys that when on RSV at RAH I credit 90+ hours each month.

My point was I flipped a coin and went to Mesa and it paid off. Luck, smarts, whatever you want to call it, it worked out for me.
Not all guys who have made a lateral move have been so lucky.

You guys ever stop to think that maybe if you had higher expectations you may actually have a contract at RAH instead of working under the deadbeat, make BB rich one you work under now?

I was a CHQ - S5 transfer in April. (So basically you are a new hire but keep your seniority)
Indoc to systems was no delay. Systems to CPT no delay. Oral No Delay. Then we got hit with a 3 week break for sim due to a lack of instructors in STL. (Mesa, SkyWest and Compass all use those sims, with S5 and YX.) YX people had a similar delays. Seem to have things moving again. So its hard to tell. I wouldn't plan on it.
