Seriously? It's the first preseason game. Brees & co will play maybe a half a quarter. You should be studying instead, a pt.121 failure is not something to be taken lightly. That's on your PRIA for a long time. The NFL Network replays all preseason games, so you can see how all the players who will be released in a month performed.

Seriously; when I was hired, I was jumpseating home Friday at five and didn't return until late, late Sunday night. It seems that the peeps who made it hard on themselves, made it harder on themselves indeed.
In short: go to the football game.

False,
Credited over 100 hours a month when on reserve and that was the norm on reserve. 30 would be a good estimate with the bonus first year maybe a grand high though.
Never picked up a day of open time or worked overtime. True they work the sh@& out of you but you do go wayy over guarantee.

I was sharing my experience and at my base I was used right up to my guarantee. Once in a while it would go over and get close to 90, but I never broke 90. The difference in take home pay was minimal. It wasn't worth beating yourself up or risking your tickets at that place at $23 hour.
What I really hated was being used out of base on reserve. It was like screw scheduling thought they couldn't just have you sit in base on reserve and be paid, they would DH you to PIT and sit you in the hotel with nothing around it to do reserve then DH you back when done and you only make 50% of the DH and that is it.
Most of the lifers there have no idea how bad it really is because they have never been anyplace else as well as the newbies.

I guess it all depends on how you look at it. Not trying to bust people's balls I just get so tired of people complaining all the time on the regional forums.
I knew at first I would be the junior guy making nothing and knew that if worst came to worst I would be taking home a paycheck that reflected 75 hours of pay and 11 days off and I wouldn't be ****ed at anyone because that was all that was promised to me. I wasn't promised a line or to be used on reserve so I did not expect anything more. The fact that I made more and flew more in my mind made things better because it was more than what was promised to me.
So what if you get used right up to 75 hours, yea that sucks money wise but you are still building time, personally I don't want to be at the regionals my whole life and to get out you need experience among other things and the more the better.
So many people bit$h about this place or any regional for that matter, and all I'm saying is why in the world are you complaining when you know what is being offered from day one. You can try and place blame on whatever you want but in the end the only person who made you come to this place is yourself and in my mind if you hate it that much go somewhere that you think is better.

Unlike many others, I choose not to be subjected to the unprofessionalism of that place from the top down. There is zero respect from senior management.
God Bless

I'd better stop and let magnus fill out an ASAP over my post
