To anyone looking into the airlines I'd recommend doing some research off of these forums, talk to people if possible working for a regional you are interested in that have been there for a while and people that have just started, they will most Likely have different points of view and things to say. and read the
contracts. Make an educated decision and understand that it is very hard to predict what will happen in the future. Make a logical decision and go with your gut.

as long as its not great lakes or psa, any where else is better than republic. know a few guys that came over from envoy thinking that it was the way to go. all of them have already left republic in under a year. a few of them wished they stayed at envoy. god bless

Wrong, to this point that is. If you look at the ALPA seniority list you will see that nearly everyone after seniority number 316 has elected to go and even a few senior ones to that have changed their minds to flow.

Just my opinion, yea no cancel pay and envoy has the better contract, but you will end up making more than an envoy guy most likely with how much you fly and you won't be on reserve nearly as long. Pretty sure they are hiring mostly on the 170's so I wouldn't take the q if it was offered. Also envoy has hot reserve republic does not. And lol I believe envoy has the most lifers out of all regionals. Envoy is a very uncertain place to be right now.

I've got interviews with both coming up and I don't really have a definite answer from this thread. I was leaning towards republic because in my mind they will do better in the future. All the 50 seaters at envoy won't be around much longer.

Is not about the plane, is about the money.
