Very true. I'm enjoying the company, just lime to see a little growth and/or movement. Its an interesting career though.
Regionals will not be able to growth. There are not enough pilots out there with ATP mins to cover the total attrition from the RJs to the LCC and Majors.

We were doing 10 per month for a while which is a pretty rapid pace for the size of the company. This month we went down to 2. What were doing in the following months is different depending on who you ask.
Heard an interesting rumor that we will be getting an ORD base with new American 145 flying sometime this summer. Would explain all the crazy upgrading and continued new hire classes now that we are properly staffed.

Well when there's guys out there creating rumors just to see how long it will take to come back to them from someone else it's hard to believe anything.

Probably but that goes along with some things I heard in recurrent last month in St Louis about American flying. Supposedly there is going to be some tour of the crew rooms by upper management next month. Could they will have some good news, or maybe not.....

Flew with a couple of reserve Captains this month that haven't been flying very much at all.

Nobody knows anything. Tsa hasn't had any growth in years. Rumors are the only way to make ourselves feel better about that.. The ord crew room may be coming but I'm sure it's cuz we need bodies there for current operations rather than new flying.

I wonder if ORD would go junior or senior and how that would affect STL? Ideas?

Probably shrink STL. Stl is senior on the captain side with lifers so you'll be stuck at the bottom forever.

TSA just added 7 new airplanes less than 10 months ago. How do you define growth?

Man you are Captain Rumormill I don't think anyone posts nearly as much stuff as you do with the words "rumor", "heard", "in the know", "schoolhouse" or "something's up". No one knows anything in this industry until it happens.
