Yeah, I get that, but as far as their first offer goes this seems positive. Maybe I'm being too glass is half full.

As an Eagle guy I cannot tell Republic pilot how to vote, but dont sell yourselves short you wont make it up. The devil is always in the details, language of contract and how many holes there are for management to abuse. Do Not Go By Bullit Points.

I agree. They will try to sell us on hourly rates while we take it in the shorts on work rules, hybrid basing, bull**** notification rules, hot reserve (that they can actually use,) and long call reserve with no clause forcing company participation. My guess is that the cancellation pay will also be full of holes the company can use to weasel its way out of paying us. My mind isn't made up, I will wait to see the proposal...but this management is notorious for interpreting the contract however the hell they see fit. Without some ironclad language preventing the kind of crap interpretation we've been subjected to these last few years, I'm voting no.

Those are some of the best FO rates in the (regional) industry. The devil, of course, is in the details.

Cant argue with that on the 50 seat jet and prop rates but the 190 rates are brutal compared to other 190 operators.

That being said is the marginal increase in FO rates enough to actually attract pilots at a time when we see at least 3 airlines dropping flying due to staffing?

Lady, you clearly don't work at RAH, so how about you leave your condescending comments to yourself. It is not a matter of immaturity, but frustration. Frustration from a pilot group who have been repeatedly been used and abused. I have to say, it must be nice from your Brown seat that you make a comment like that.

Things are changing in this segment of aviation, and it would be nice to have some support. We are NOT flying 19 seat turbo-prop airplanes anymore, and we REFUSE to be compensated like it! Between XJET and Eagle, thousands of pilots and their leadership have told management that we deserve better. If we are going to be stuck in this "regional" world for an indefinite period as upward mobility is styfled, then we deserve our piece of the pie. Long GONE are the 5 year commuter "dues". So the pay structure needs to go as well!

The people that created the "RJ" world by voting off the scope, this is your Frankenstein. But I will be dammed if we allow the sub-par pay structure and quality of life to continue at RAH. Call it what you will, "Jetblue or better" proposals, but the pilots of S5, YX, and CHQ have stood by each other not to allow for concessions. We have been operating 70+ seat aircraft before anyone else, and trying like hell to get compensated for it. It has not been an easy road, but we are still trying. So we will read, and I presume say NO to this TA. Vote like you will be stuck here, and this contract will last 10 years. FUPM!

RAH pilots don't need industry average rates (AE, XJet, Skywest), they need above industry average.

If you guys sign for industry average rates, in 10 years will be like today...bottom barrel rates
