Completely agree with you here... Not to minimize the dispatchers job as I truly truly respect their important role in the operation, but how much time and $$$ do you have to invest nowadays to become an FAA licensed dispatcher compared to what we as pilots have to invest and go through building time, instructing etc before we even have a shot at the airlines to make peanuts and be treated like sh!@t? Return on investment is definitely something to take into account when making these "comparisons"...

You really don't need to justify yourself at all. The market is speaking, as a result there isn't any talent in the pilot training pipeline. Hold strong, you will eventually get what you want. There isn't much choice.

Imagine how this pipeline issue is going to look 6 months from now. Were now just at the leading edge of the problem. It won't even reach its peak for another 6 years. Vote your conscious, hang on for the ride, big changes are coming. 2 airlines will likely fail this year.

Default heller, the rev. , teamsters, swellbar rant.

firings out of seniority from long ago
9 plus bases closed in last decade.
CMH and IND inbreds that have their own agenda.
bedfords undercover boss 'look how rich I am' episode.
Heller's big Benz at the front door of the HQ
Losing days of flying credit for WX but held in base with no pay.
Your last paycheck
Your last reschedule
Your last conversation with crewsked

Facts....
The teamsters are not working for your interests
Management has waged an expensive PR campaign against you.
There is at most a 1 yr. supply of regional labor left. ( air apps data)

This is managements last ditch effort in a lowball before their leverage falls off a cliff, no other regional can take over your block hrs., don't PSA yourselves on this one. If pilots say yes on this it'll be party time at the pyramids and Carmel IN.

Thank you for listening. Rant over.

And don't forget heller saying RAH 170/190 pay is in line with JetBlue. It's time to make good on that claim.
