oops, ok, I need to stop doing 5 things at the same time... you are not RAH, he is not RAH, he is very passionate about the TA as if he was at RAH... I too am perplexed. It's not his fight anymore.

Really? You read it? Because I don't even work there and I actually did read it and if you actually don't understand how bad this T/A is then wow, just wow..

  • No supporting language enforcing gains in scheduling
  • Pay increases that are nothing but COLA at 2010 levels, let alone with inflation what you will need to live in another 7 years...
  • Singing Bonus not unexpected but still insulting.
  • Contactable at all times while on duty..Dude..if you don't think your yes vote makes you a perpetual reserve under that little gem then I submit you need a psyche eval.
  • Co-bases that would place an enormous hardship on crew members if one was agreed on.
  • Allowing Captains to pick up F/O open time and bidding FO trips on their lines
  • No C/A pay protections for seat reductions on AA 175 aircraft
  • Worthless trip/duty rigs
  • No healthcare contribution caps
  • Non-standard and inadequate cancellation pay
  • Continued failure to bargain fair language with displacements and vacancies
  • Absolutely horrid reserve language that is concessionary in every way.
and those are just the ones off the top of my head...I told my niece and nephew if they voted yes for this I'd have-em committed.

Do you really think that Silver pays 2 credit hours for each hour spent on duty? If they did, we'd all be trying to work there... Haha.
On the Silver Airways profile on airlinepilotcentral.com it says Silver has a 2:1 duty rig.

That is industry standard. Almost all duty rigs are 2:1 except for Republic's. It will be 2.5/1 which means you might as well not even have one.

Figure it out.
We have it figured out. The only improvements to the reserve section have no language supporting them or even any language requiring awarding of said improvements. In fact, with the allowance multi-day out of base hot reserve assignments, it could be argued that reserve here is now worse. We have figured out that turboprop First Officers in the Northwest will be making more than our First Officers who are flying mainline jets. And that's just two of a great many points I could expand on. For the betterment of this industry for ourselfs and those to follow, you'll see an overwhelming vote against implementing this TA. Shame on those at PSA. There's no reason that regional wages and benefits shouldn't improve substantially with each successive TA. We are essentially the Z scale to the major's A and B scale. Lot's of letters for improvement in an environment where we are becoming a scarce commodity.

I'd hate to be the guys who have to road show this TA. Dudes are going to get stoned, and not in that cool way from high school.

This is my second regional so I have an idea of what to expect and this TA gives huges concessions in QOL for no real gains. The pay rates are atrocious, the rigs worthless, no min day for anything but day trips, reserve section abysmal and number one is remaining contactable while on duty. This TA is basically the LBFO with a few different paragraphs and worse payrates.
