No. $30k a year isn't poverty wages but is that really what we're shooting for? Not being on welfare? Which, by the way, some of us with kids qualify for. Our profession merits more pay...period. If we all demanded it we would get it. Simple as that. We cannot be replaced. A train conductor makes 10 times what a regional pilot makes and he doesn't have to make turns!!

I would be very leery of those C300 rates. They did the same thing in the last contract slipping in E170 rates long before they were on anyone's radar. That can and will come back to haunt you and you'll be having the same fight 10 years from now after you've got a hundred of them on the certificate. Don't leave future FO's trying to figure how they got stuck flying an A320 sized airplane for 45K a year because you were too anxious to get your hands on a pay raise. TREAD CAREFULLY.

In Denver this morning two Q guys were all giddy about what was apparently in the new TA, and then when I just looked at them with an "are you serious?" look, they mumbled to each other wondering why they didn't get any support from me.
We all have support from each other right now to do what is best for us all, so don't give in.
IMPROVEMENTS DO NOT EQUAL ADEQUACY. That's the problem here. RAH has their pilots right where they want them by supposedly offering improvements over what they currently have. I fear A LOT of people will take that bait.

WE HAVEN'T SEEN A TA. NO LINE PILOT NOR THE EXCO HAS IT EITHER!!!
When we see it, them you can all discuss what we should do! All this bashing and crazy talk is getting annoying. Once again, we haven't seen the TA! It's nothing but rumor going around!
