As am I. That's why I chose RAH. It was a great decision that has had quite a significant impact on retirement with my quick upgrade. As far as work rules. Who cares? No regionals have excellent work rules and they never will. I'd rather have some of our rules than some of yours. And on the other hand, I'd rather have some other of yours than ours. In the end it's a wash. Carry on with your air of superiority. Make sure you display it when you're asking me for a ride. Oh that's right, your ilk hides your true character and only displays it when there's no consequences. Carry on. . .

Back to the original intent of the thread.... I worked for republic for 4 years, both republic and shuttle. The DC headsets on the planes are nasty, I'm amazed how many people use them. I would highly recommend telex 850s. They worked great in the 170 and I carried them onto my next job and they work great in a Boeing. Good luck wherever your career takes you!

Hey,
I was reading in the FOM that TSO certified headsets are required. Unfortunately, mine is not (Lightspeed Zulu). Has anyone used these or have been given grief for not using TSO certified headsets? I just don't feel like buying a new headset when mine is completely fine.
Thanks!
