Thanks everyone else for the responses. I will plan on using the DC in the plane if someone gives me a hard time.

I didn't know you made such great money at your regional to start blowing money not only on uniforms, but luggage, and a new headset, too. Perhaps I should have gone to your airline...oh wait
You already blew $850 for the Zulus.

RAH and PSA are in the same level now, but that's a different discussion. Just don't think because you're in RAH makes you better than PSA or other airlines.

Actually, they were given to me so I blew a whopping $0. Woohoo! And did I say it's a better company? I'm just saying that I didn't know PSA made so much money that one would consider just dropping more money for a headset. Thanks for your input though.

Hey,

I was reading in the FOM that TSO certified headsets are required. Unfortunately, mine is not (Lightspeed Zulu). Has anyone used these or have been given grief for not using TSO certified headsets? I just don't feel like buying a new headset when mine is completely fine.

Thanks!
I'm on the Shuttle side and that's what I use. Haven't heard anything from anyone. Although I've been thinking of getting the Bose QC2 or 3 with Uflymike just because it's lighter and I can use it while commuting. I wouldn't worry about the TSO anyways cause there's DCs on the planes so if anyone ever gives you a hard time use the DCs
That would be fuel for DW to go after you. Just sayin'.
DW is too busy in IND to ever see him out on the line. Like I said, if anyone gives me **** I'll use the DCs on the plane. But I'll take a delay until I find some sanicom wipes before I do. Gotta fly safe.

God Bless.
lol. God Bless.

Maybe you can buy him a headset with all that money you got in your fabulous new contract?

Check the Bombardier FCOM and/or AFM, Limitations Section for the CRJ. I believe that some S/N of the CRJ-200 (CL-600-2B19) require use of specific Manufacturer's TSO'd Headsets.

skyguy, you might want to follow what the FOM says. All airlines have fired pilot's for not following the FOM.

Just my two cents.
