I heard a nasty rumor that ExpressJet management called UAL and told them not to hire any more of their pilots as it is already causing problems and may harm the "United brand". Thoughts?

Id say that that was commonplace. Piedmont does it all the time with Airways and Rah would stop at nothing to inhibit pilots. Majors may not have a choice for long.

Plenty of guys leaving XJT for UAL at the moment. The ORD LEC Chairman being one of them.

Hence the phone call. I'm not sure if this is for real or not. I was offered an interview at XJT and I'm not sure if I'm gonna take it for this reason alone. There are only 2 "high paying" majors hiring right now, I don't want to half my chances by taking a position there.

Last I checked EXJ operates for AA, DL and UA!

If yur instructing, Get a 121 job now. Study the regionals and find the one thats the most tolerable for you. The first year anywhere with low pay and reserve is terrible. 2nd yr is where youll see the diff in regionals contracts. Live in base and try to keep the resentment to a low Youll be fine. If yur in a regional @2nd yr pay, dont leave for another regional. Its not better to leave at that point. Imho

GO to XJET! RAH has a bunch of clowns running the airline. Then this leads us to contract. IBT is the negotiating union for RP pilots and that (my union currently) is run by a bunch of clowns as well. No contract still. Really! Combine the two together you have a circus that rivals Barnum and Bailey Circus!
Can anybody answer who is the active President of IBT at this time?
If the answer is Craig Moffett then definitely go to XJET!

^^^ This is a spot on analysis of the ibt and rah ^^^
After all the hype about national support- Zero performance from the union as they take take take. Xjet is no picnic but if you live in one of their bases, I agree-go xjet.

Does anybody know Express Jets ontime performance numbers out of ORD? I know they were last overall but specifically out of ORD? What a **** show all the time!
