People can describe whatever they want but if the conditions are really that bad and they continue to work there and complain it's the worst job in the world, even with an upgrade insight, it's very hypocritical. I work here and know what it's like but I don't relentlessly complain because nobody is forcing me to stay here.. Most people already know the problems with pay and everything else, it's old news.
If you've never had another aviation related job besides flight instructing then you probably won't understand it's pretty much the same everywhere. If you want to argue over the nuisances of pay and work rules from regional to regional, fine, whatever, you'll be miserable for life. People leave here all the time for better jobs or they've had enough of the airlines so there's your out.

If your co-workers want to come to this forum and educate prospective new-hires, then you should keep quiet. It's not aimless b*tching. It's not entitlement. It's not hypocritical. There's something to be said for wanting to leave a place better than when you came.

Did you ever think that people complaining here has a purpose other than to just b*tch? Staffing issues are most of what little leverage we have against the company. Management is coming up to a decision point. They can't keep this current contract and staff 47 new airframes. To do that, they need a competitive contract. Something has to give.
