Default Republic Upgrades, and American CPA's

Upgrade forecasts at Republic have improved after the AA announcement. What will happen if and when they get released for strike is way above my pay grade.

Republic Pilot Demand

There is still lots of "Large Regional" Flying to be awarded by American. I've kind of broken it down in the following link. However any more flying awarded will now require fleet reductions by Eagle, unless they are the ones getting awarded the flying.

American CPA

Anyway, just some numbers for those interested...things are still very fluid right now.

Are you taking into account the AE contract provision for 60% of the AA feed or roughly 220 aircraft? This is a furloughs protection in the contract but who knows how much weight that will carry and if it will be honored!

There was never a 5 year training contract. There is a 2 year contract, but that is being waived depending on who you ask.

You'll never be released to strike because you operate too much feed for too many major carriers. It's the NMB's job to protect the continuous flow of air travel in the US. They're not going to side with you. It'll just drag forever until the company has a reason to change something or perhaps a proffer of arbitration is accepted.

It pains me to say it, but this is spot on. We provide to much lift on the east coast, for too many carriers. The NMB has the interests of anyone/everyone else in mind, before our pilots. This has been made evident several times throughout these proceedings.

This all could be, I just don't have a very good pulse on the proceedings at Republic to reliably comment on the labor situation there. I'm sure the Pilots over there have a far better idea than I do regarding how the NMB process is likely to play out.

Thanks for the comment on the Eagle 60% Regional requirement, I was not aware of that and will try to get hold of the contract to take a look.

Thanks for gathering informations and presenting it like this, below is the information you seek

Go to the bottom of the page, there is a link there

http://restructuringamr.com/ae-our-people-alpa.asp

Once in the file go to page 85, like I said it's in the contract but wether AMR will honor it is another is the question.

It's bad enough regionals impersonate mainline carriers... Now you guys are impersonating other regionals. A new low, congratulations.
