Does anyone know if the bases have "crash" pads? I will be commuting when I start and will need a pad for "reserve" time unless of course they are hiring so many I don't spend time on reserve LOL

NYC (LGA/JFK) has many options, including the well know Q gardens.

MIA has many options as well, I know many guys use one down in South Beach, and get there via the city bus fairly easy.

DFW is so cheap, you mind as well move there.

No one really commented on this yet. Where did you hear this? I'm not trying to sound negative, because I'm new to this area. This just sound like actual real pay

You won't ever see 175 pay unless you're currently on that plane. And the top of the scale is 20 yrs. So good luck ever seeing the $120 unless you're a lifer.

Current upgrade is 5+ years. And that's to the 145/Q400 at a proposed rate of $69.25 for yr 5. Current rate is just shy of $67, which was agreed to in 2003. New rate doesn't even come close to keeping up with inflation.

Are the reserves at Eagle on the ERJ (any base) flying a lot? Does the summer look like there is going to be a lot of flying?

Depends on the base. ORD and DFW fly more than NY and MIA. New reserve rules went into place today so who knows how that'll affect things (time balancing being one change).

This isn't my first rodeo buddy, but thanks for the advice. Could you please PM me your bank acct. info so I can make sure you get my 5,000 dollar bonus for coming to Eagle. And this way, you can stop saying "you're welcome" when people ask about the bonus..

Good Luck there chief!
Again, thanks for your advice. I have been through these "intense" training programs before. So I am aware of the "intensity" of these. I may not know how "intense" AE's training program is, but I am sure it is as "intense" as other 121 carriers. Again thank you for warning me about the "intensity" of training. And for that advice I would still like to donate my 5k to you....

I agree with RJ PILOT. The training program at Eagle is no joke. Worry about not busting out before you even think about what life on reserve will be like. Unlike other places it is not an easy walk in the park.
